Automotive retail, built for what's next
Buyer agents are already in your inbox. Close them on your terms.
Switchyard sits between AI buying agents and your sales desk. It quotes, counters and escalates by your rules, and never touches a human lead.

Questions dealers ask
Straight answers.
Switchyard isn't trying to replace the systems your dealership already runs. It gives them a safe front door for autonomous buyers.
No. Nothing in Switchyard improvises a price, and no outside model ever sees your messages, prices or inventory. Prices come from your policy: automatic quotes and counters never go below the floor you set, and only an admin can approve a price under it, with a recorded reason.
Switchyard counters on a fixed schedule from your own quote, so a lowball gets the same answer as a fair offer and no reply ever reveals your floor. Rounds are counted per agent and vehicle for 30 days, across conversations and addresses, and an agent that keeps probing one vehicle is held for a person. Each conversation gets at most five automatic replies a day.
No. "Accepted terms" means the agent accepted the price you quoted, or your rules accepted an offer you allowed them to. Nothing is reserved in inventory and nothing is signed. Your team is notified and completes the sale as usual. Over the API, an agent cannot accept at all without naming a buyer you can reach.
Yes. Every message, classification, policy decision, review, counter and reply is in one timeline, each step labelled with where it came from: the original message, the classification, your policy, a named person on your team, or the agent. The log is append-only, not even Switchyard can edit it, and admins can export it.
Most dealerships don't know until they look: Observe shows the agent traffic already arriving at your sales inbox, and changes nothing. When you're ready, Connect makes your inventory discoverable to buying agents you credential: they can search your vehicles, check one, and ask for a quote through a structured API, under your rules, with access you grant and can revoke per agent. Switchyard is not a marketplace: it doesn't list you anywhere or send you leads.
Neither would we ask you to. Switchyard doesn't own your inventory; it keeps a working copy to match requests and price quotes. Today that copy is loaded from an export of the system you already maintain. Direct feeds from inventory systems are on our roadmap, and we'll tell you which before you sign anything.
Neither. Your CRM stays your system of record for customers and leads, and your sales inbox still receives every message, because Switchyard only ever gets a copy. Switchyard is the system of control for the autonomous side: what an outside agent may ask for, and what it gets back. Your team opens Switchyard for the exceptions: a review queue and an audit trail, not daily work. Handing those exceptions to your CRM as tasks is on our roadmap.
No, on purpose. Those tools act for your dealership: answering, following up, booking. Switchyard governs the AI acting for the buyer: whether an outside agent may deal with you, what it can ask for, and under which rules. Running both means autonomous systems on both sides of the sale, and the boundary between them matters more, not less.
